my single days in writing a letter to

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you...

1. It's a surprise party.

像这种的 party就称为 surprise party(注意可不是 surprising party)。

2. That's a real eye-opening experience.

That building really opened my eye.

3. Who is going to organize the birthday party next time?

4. I bought a cake about this big!

I bought a cake about this big!说 I bought a cake like this big.

I have a brother about this tall.

A. What is your plan for Halloween?

B. I don't know. I'll probably just stay at home.

A. Do you want to come to a party with me?

B. What party?

A. My friends are holding a Halloween party next week.

B. That sounds nice! What is the dressing code?

A. Oh, you are highly recommended to wear a costume, but if you really don't have one, it will be fine.

B. Sounds good. When will the party start?

A. It will start at 8 o'clock in the evening, and will probably last for about four hours.

B. It sounds like a great fun. I would really want to go. Where is it?

A. Don't worry about it. I can come and pick you up before the party starts.

B. Thank you so much!

A. No problem. See you then!

B. See you.
